Nike is dedicated to showing us the way of the future when it comes to sneakers, but for the new Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 it will come at a hefty price.
The Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 is a self power-lacing sneaker. It’s “adaptive lacing” technology features four main components – a heel sensor alerts the shoe when a foot enters, a cable lacing system replaces the traditional lacing unit, a high-tech mini-motor tightens and loosens the cables, and a rechargeable battery provides power and fancy LED lights in the silhouette’s outsole unit.
The self-lacing Nike HyperAdapt 1.0 will be available as of November 28th in black, white and grey for the steep price of $1,000 US. We are expecting the sneaker to be offered this Holiday season in a limited capacity but we will have additional information closer to its release date. Stay tuned to THDKicks.com
