The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max Doernbecher created by 12 year old Corwin Carr will be part of the Doernbecher Collection this year.
Corwin dreams of getting his pilot’s license. He brought his passion for aviation to life on his Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max Doernbecher. This special iteration of the SB Stefan Janoski Max features shades of Blue that cover the entire mesh and suede upper. Additionally, a jet plane done in white is featured on the toe.
Instead of a regular sock liner, Corwin opted for a map of the world. The laces feature the same pattern as Portland’s famous airport carpet. Finally, Corwin added his very own pilot wings logo surrounded by 40 feathers on the tongue as a finishing touch. The 40 feathers represent that number of surgeries he’s had to endure ever since he was diagnosed with prune belly and VATER syndrome, a rare condition that can affect the spine, heart, digestive system, kidneys and more.
The sneakers drop with apparel in typical Doernbecher fashion. That same jet is also featured on the hoodie and hat. The Nike SB Stefan Janoski Max is due to release on December 17th for $125.
