Under Armour’s innovative cushioning platform – HOVR – is coming to basketball soon with the release of the HOVR Havoc.
Under Armour sat down with its senior footwear designer Leon Gu to get an inside look at how this new sneaker can help anyone take their game to another level – a level above the rim.
Under Armour’s footwear team designed the Havoc for basketball. The heel has a rim and core construction in order to focus energy into the powerful push off point of a basketball shoe. Its flex grooves line the outer edge of the forefoot to give it maximum flexibility with a broken-in feel and it has a super lightweight and breathable upper that can lockdown without feeling cumbersome.
The UA HOVR Havoc Low ($105) and UA HOVR Havoc Mid ($115) will be available at UA.com as of August 31st.
