For the second year in a row, FILA and the BNP Paribas Open have collaborated on limited-edition footwear styles set to debut at this year’s tennis tournament in Indian Wells, California. FILA is the official apparel and footwear provider of the BNP Paribas Open, the largest ATP World Tour and WTA combined two-week event in the world. The new designs merge FILA’s DNA in tennis with two of its signature Heritage footwear silhouettes.
The FILA x BNP Paribas Open Original Tennis 2.0 Knit was designed in white, with green accents and logo hits in FILA’s signature red/white/navy hues. The footwear ties back to FILA’s custom uniform collection for the BNP Paribas Open, as the tournament’s officials will also wear the shoe on-court.
In addition, a special-edition FILA x BNP Paribas Open Drifter was designed to coincide with the tournament. The Drifter features a yellow strap in “tennis ball material,” branded with the BNP Paribas Open logo in the center and the FILA logo on the side of the strap. For each silhouette, a custom box will also feature the FILA and BNP Paribas Open logos.
The FILA x BNP Paribas Open Original Tennis 2.0 Knit will retail for $80 and the FILA x BNP Paribas Open Drifter will retail for $30. Both styles will be available exclusively at the FILA retail shop on-site in Indian Wells.
