The 2017 NCAA Basketball Tournament marks a historic milestone for Under Armour. There was a record-number of collegiate teams – 12 men’s and 11 women’s – that advanced to the big dance. To add to the excitement, Under Armour is celebrating the advancement of South Carolina’s men’s and women’s teams to the Final Four… a first for Under Armour.
Just three years ago, Under Armour had one men’s team in the field. Through grit and determination, both the Brand and collegiate basketball teams were fueling the success of the underdog: BEWARE THE UNDERDOG. I WILL.
The Gamecocks received limited-edition gold colorways of both the CURRY 3ZER0 and Charged Controller to kick off their March Madness journey.
The Charged Controller gold colorway is available at Champs ARMOURY locations nationwide. Off court, Under Armour has seeded the new, limited release of the Under Armour Curry Lux oxblood leather colorway now available for South Carolina players and a few hundred fans and an assortment of Under Armour South Carolina t-shirts celebrating the National Semifinal Game for both teams is also available.
