LA Clippers breakout star Montrezl Harrell has been killing it this season on the court with his unique, custom kicks and elevated game. Here are some surprise kicks that were presented to him by Red Bull and four of the top artists in the game – Kickasso, Solesbysir, Dinero Andretti and Kickstradomis.
Each artist found a theme that has special meaning to his life:
The Jordan 10s designed by Kickasso were inspired by his two favorite bulls. The left shoe features an iconic Red Bull to represent the energy he brings to the game. The right shoe features The Brahma Bull AKA wrestling icon The Rock, his favorite wrestler, with his signature catch phrase “Just Bring It”
Jordan 10s inspired by the Nickelodeon show Rocket Power, his favorite cartoon growing up, by Solesbysir
Jordan 12s inspired by his memories and NCAA Championship run at Louisville, by local Louisville designer Dinero Andretti
Jordan 10s inspired by the two high schools he attended, by Kickstradomis
Montrezl Harrel, who has owned 3,000-5,000 pairs over the years, went on to wear the customized Jordans in-game over the past month and he could not be more thankful for his gifts from Red Bull. In his own words:
“I really just wanna take the time really to thank not only to Red Bull, but to the artists as well who took the time to create these shoes and bringing them to life.”
