KD has been doing big things in 2016, releasing many new color ways for his ninth signature shoe. The Nike KD 9 Birds of Paradise, his newest release was debuted during Durant’s latest trip to Greater China for his Nike Basketball Tour.
The shoe features a traditional Flyknit upper done in black at the heel, and shades of green at the front. A clean white sole is the finishing touch.
The Nike KD 9 Birds of Paradise will release on August 19th at select Nike Basketball retailers. The shoes will retail for $150 USD.
It seems as though 2016 is the year of KD. Mr. Durant released plenty of dope color ways for the KD 9, and the KD 8 as well. Maybe there’s more to come, after all, it still July. Hopefully whatever he drops next keeps the trend going.
