FILA and Pink Dolphin have collaborated on a capsule collection of apparel and footwear, set to release on Friday, October 21. The new items fuse FILA’s classic heritage and Pink Dolphin’s core aesthetic, while adding a contemporary twist. Pieces were designed in a bold, French blue/shell pink/dark blue/black color palette and are dual-branded with the FILA and Pink Dolphin logos.
The footwear component of the collaboration includes the FILA x Pink Dolphin T-1 Mid silhouette. This model is wrapped in a premium smooth and perforated leather upper, accented with Pink Dolphin’s “Ghost” logo on the heel tab. There are two variations of the T-1 Mid; one version is designed in French blue, with a pigskin suede split FILA flag in shell pink and dark blue hues. The second style features a black base, with the FILA flag in French blue and shell pink. Both T-1 Mid options sit atop a full gum sole and each one features custom sock liners that are decorated with the FILA and Pink Dolphin logos.
The apparel portion of the capsule includes a heritage track suit with nylon taping accents, high density prints and nylon woven labels. The collection also consists of custom cut and sew hoodies, t-shirts and an embroidered headband. To echo the footwear offerings, design elements such as color blocking and taping appear in the same French blue and shell pink hues.
To showcase the new line, the collection was photographed on rapper, OMB Peezy. Peezy is a 20-year old Sacramento artist, originally from Alabama. Peezy recently made two moves to set up his future in the Hip-Hop space, one with E-40’s Sic Wit It Records and one with 300 Entertainment.
The limited edition FILA x Pink Dolphin capsule collection will be available exclusively at Pink Dolphin flagship stores and online at Pink Dolphin.
