This year 10-year old Damien Phillips was chosen to design the Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher.
Damian is fighting through a hemophilia diagnosis. He showed courage at hemophilia camp, where he was awarded the Big Stick Award after learning to administer his own infusions. Damian was excited when he found out he was given the Air Jordan 7 to work on, because he’s a huge Bulls fan. The shoe features a Bulls theme, as red and black appear though out. He is also a fan of rock music, which is why he placed the guitar pick on the laces. The heel tab also resembles a guitar neck. Finally, the translucent outsole features an animated graphic of Damien himself playing guitar. The Air Jordan 7 Doernbecher By Damien Phillips will be releasing on Saturday, December 17th. The shoes drop via SNKRS for a retail price of $190.
